Bob Pinkerton
Mr. Pinkerton makes Shaker-style boxes by first boiling thin planks of wood in a copper pan and then bending them around oval Styrofoam molds. This way the boxes all come out the same shape, and different-sized pieces can be stacked inside one another. The technique was originated by the Shaker community, which was an austere offshoot of the Quaker faith.
