Nancy Wilder Palmateer Memorial Children's Workshop TAUNY Kids Create with Sara Lynch, Saturday, April 27th
This Workshop is free.
Celebrate mud season with Artist Sara Lynch! At this hands-on, might-be-messy workshop, kids will be shown how to stamp mud-like red clay with leaves and other items from nature to make bowls, trivets and coasters. Clay will also be available for free play after. the clay will be red earthenware that fires to a light orange. It does stain clothing, so dress accordingly. To give everyone enough instruction time, there will be two different start times - please sign up for either 12 or 1:30pm. After the event, Sara will bring everyone’s creations back to her studio to be fired and glazed. She will bring them back to TAUNY once they are done, in approximately two weeks. Participants will be notified about the pick-up date and will be responsible for picking up their items at the TAUNY Center.
All ages are welcome. Children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult
