Spotlight Gallery Exhibit “Willing Hands”
The TAUNY Folkstore’s newest Spotlight Exhibit is “Willing Hands”, a collection of original pastels and pastel studies by Catherine LaPointe Vollmer.
“Willing Hands” is a series of portraits of hands at work. Catherine explores all the different ways in which we use our hands - for work, leisure, and as a way of connecting with each other.
Catherine believes that our hands “reflect our life experiences through their individual physicality and character. Hands are a portrait of a life lived”.
