Participants will learn about Majolica, a type of glazed pottery synonymous with exquisite craftsmanship and vibrant artistry. They will learn to roll slabs to create a beautiful cheese or cracker tray.

Class #1: Provides the basic understanding of how to use clay tools, i.e. rolling pin, & needle tool to create the tray. Stamps can be used to embellish rims or designs on the tray. The tray can be any shape, but is limited in size to no more than 8” long and 6” wide.
Class #2: The bisqued tray will be glazed beforehand and then washes of under glaze will be applied to decorate your piece.

After the second class the pieces will be fired, and returned to the participants when ready.
