Kathy Montan

  Kathy’s vibrant, imaginative felted wall art is a culmination of 30 years of working with wool.  She began spinning and weaving wool from her own sheep, then felting hats and flowers, and eventually found artistic expression in felting pictures.  Taking inspiration from the textures and colors of the different wool she uses, Kathy allows her designs to “evolve” naturally.  She combines both needle felting and wet felting to produce stunning effects.
