TAUNY's logo, designed by artist Dale Hobson, was inspired by a stylized evergreen tree from a 19th century stoneware jug made in the North Country - most likely, White's Utica Pottery.
Evergreens are a dominant feature in the landscape, and ubiquitous in the folk art of our region, symbolizing endurance over time.
