Collection: Paintings, Prints

The natural beauty of Northern NY has long inspired artists.  Some of the region's painters respond to the vast expanses of wilderness still intact today - some to the native flora and fauna.  Others prefer to record scenes of domestic life: farms, gardens, and architectural landmarks.  In recent years, plein air painting has had a revival, and festivals have cropped up through the area to encourage this art.
