Artisan Quilts

Quilts arrived with the first settlers of Northern NY, and there has never been a time when residents of the region have not been producing good, warm covers for their beds from old scraps of fabric or new. While this practical inspiration for quilt-making is still strong in our region, many contemporary quilters intend their work to be displayed on a wall.
