Janet Marie Yeates

 

Janet Marie Yeates is an artist and graphic designer from the southern Adirondacks who participates in many summer Plein Air festivals in the North Country.  She considers painting outdoors a “serene perception of being part of a brief episode in time”, watching sunlight move, and wind and temperature changing colors in the landscape.  As she says, “I am often solo witness to the spectacular drama of late afternoon”.  Janet paints in all seasons.
