A North Country native, Kathy grew up in the small village of Nicholville. Ever since she was a teenager, she expressed her creativity in textile arts - transforming raw materials into art .
Kathy’s jewelry-making began over seven years ago. She is self-taught, and learned most of her techniques from online tutorials and articles. She currently works mostly with copper, pewter and polymer clay, and incorporates textures and designs that honor the beauty of nature. She sometimes uses elements of nature, like leaves and flowers, in her clay work. And she is always exploring new techniques, tools and materials to create new, fresh looks. Kathy lives in Potsdam, NY.
