Collection: Susan Riley

FIber Artist Susan Riley first discovered her interest in weaving when she saw a woman weaving threads into cloth.  Her first loom was a gift from her husband on her 45th birthday - but it wasn’t until she retired 20 years later, that she actually began to fulfill her desire to learn to weave: She took classes, started amassing a yarn and fiber collection, and studied and practiced different techniques.
Susan’s passion for weaving has taken her around the world to discover new fibers, patterns and techniques of weaving.  Her work spans traditional to contemporary; from time-honored overshot designs to free form sculptural pieces.
Susan offers private lessons in her home studio as well.
