Consecutive workshops. Participants must attend BOTH sessions.

Do you play guitar but always wanted to learn to fingerpick? Guitarist Barb Heller can teach you in TWO easy lessons!  In the first session you’ll learn the mechanics and basic theory of fingerpicking.  In the second session you’ll learn about variations in rhythms, chording, and bass notes.  

You must have some facility with chording a guitar.  Please bring your own guitar.

Barb Heller has been playing guitar for over 50 years, and taught students how to fingerpick for decades.  Once you understand the basics it’s simple! This will be a fun class with lots of opportunity to practice what you’ve learned - and to make new musical friends!
