Spotlight Exhibit, “Seasons in the North Country”

The pastels of artist Sheryl Scales are currently featured in the TAUNY Folkstore’s Spotlight Gallery through July 3rd.  The Exhibit showcases both her florals and landscapes - highlighting the Intense colors of her flower studies and the brilliant play of light and shadow in her landscapes. 

“Art allows me to dream out loud!  I seek inspiration and beauty in ordinary, fleeting moments that give us pause.  Capturing small moments in time excites me.  My hope is that my excitement transfers and connects with viewers to bring color filled pleasure and momentary respite.  For me, making Art is about wonderments while marveling at the world.  And turning time into lasting reminders of natural beauties.”
