Spotlight Gallery, “Wearable Art”

With fall semesters beginning shortly at North Country colleges, the Folkstore at the TAUNY Center is showcasing artisan fashions for back to school - with an emphasis on ideas for coordinated “looks”.  Hand dyed and handwoven scarves, hand made jewelry, leather handbags, and wool mittens and hats by local artisans will be displayed as ensembles.  

A selection of the items included in the exhibit appears in this collection.

This exhibit will close September 3rd, followed by “Captured Moments”, the paintings of Adirondack Artist Catherine Hartung on Saturday September 6th.
